“BERLIN-BAKU” GALLERY OPENED IN GERMANY
“Berlin-Baku” Gallery was opened in the Germany’s capital, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
The idea belongs to German artist-designer Ibrahim Ahrari and Bakuvite, honored art worker Emin Mammadov.
Aim of the gallery is to organize the joint exhibition of German and Azerbaijani artists, sculptors and other workers of art.
The first day of the exhibition was devoted to the works of Museyib Amirov and Detlef Olshevky. Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany Parviz Shahbazov made speech at the exhibition. Mr. Shabazov underlined that such event will bring closer the cultures of two nations on the eve of Azerbaijani Days of Culture, which is to be held in Germany, in 2008.
