BRITISH COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2010 OPEN IN DEHLI

Baku, October 4 (AZERTAC). India opened its doors to the world at opening ceremony of the XIX British Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi on Sunday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The Games will involve over 6 thousand participants from 71 countries. During 12 days of the tournament they will display their skill in 17 kinds of sport.

Delhi a city known for its rich culture hospitality and diversity will look at its best for visitors during the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010. One of the spotlights of this event is that it will leave this city much more beautiful and glittering than it ever was. The colonial city, which is surrounded by hundreds of exciting and dazzling tourist attractions, is being rejuvenated.
