CHAIRMAN OF CONSTITUTIONAL COURT MEETS WITH AMBASSADOR OF SOUTH KOREA
Chairman of Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan Farhad Abdullayev met Friday with Ambassador of S. Korea Lu Kwang-Chul.
He stressed the role of the two countries’ leaders in development of bilateral relations noting as in other fields, cooperation between the two Constitutional Courts is strengthening day by day.
Farhad Abdullayev briefed the Ambassador on history of the Constitution and the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan. He pointed out that since founding the Constitutional Court have adopted 143 resolutions.
The Chairman said the Court attaches particular importance to international cooperation, noting the work on signing a cooperation agreement with the Constitutional Court of the Korean Republic is underway.
He announced that Chairman of the Korean Constitutional Court are among the guests to be invited next year to participate in the events to mark the 10th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Kwang-Chul said the documents signed by the two countries’ leaders have created a legal basis for development of bilateral relations in all fields. He stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation in legal sphere.
The Ambassador vowed to do his best for further development and enhancement of cooperation between Azerbaijan and S. Korea.
A number of other issues of mutual interest were touched on during the conversation.
