DAILY OIL PRODUCTION TO GROW
Some 370 thousand barrel of oil per day is being produced at ‘Azeri’ and ‘Chirag’ fields, bp reports. After putting into operation the ‘Western Azeri’ platform at the beginning of the next year, oil production will increase by 500 thousand barrels.
At the first quarter of 2006, tanker with roughly 1 million barrel of Azerbaijani oil will be transported from Turkish Ceyhan port to the international markets via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. Turkmen and Kazakh oil will be transported also by this route. Starting with 7,5 million barrels, production will be increased by 20 mln barrel per year after putting into operation of Kashagan field (Kazakhstan).
