DELEGATION OF KUWAIT-AZERBAIJAN INTERPARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP GROUP VISITS MILLI MAJLIS

After viewing the Parliament`s session hall and the Heydar Aliyev Museum, the delegation met with members of the Azerbaijan-Kuwait interparliamentary friendship group headed by Akram Abdullayev.
Abdullayev said Azerbaijan is keen to develop relations with Kuwait in all areas.
He stressed the Kuwaiti delegation`s visit brings the two countries` people closer to each other.
Akram Abdullayev informed the Kuwaiti parliamentarians about Azerbaijan`s economic progress and huge energy projects his country is participating in.
On the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, Abdullayev said Azerbaijan wants it to be peacefully solved.
Head of the Kuwait-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group Nasir Jasem Al Sani said the major goal of their visit is to explore ways of boosting bilateral relations.
He noted Kuwait has always been supporting Azerbaijan`s just stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and will continue doing so.
Al Sani stressed his country will also continue providing humanitarian aid to Azeri refugees and IDPs.
Members of the Kuwaiti delegation praised Azerbaijan`s economic development.
