Deputy Foreign Minister: Azerbaijan demonstrates active diplomatic initiatives

“In a changing world, traditional values are being violated and destroyed even as we speak. We are witnessing actions that do not comply with the UN Charter. Azerbaijan has suffered from Armenia's military aggression for many years. We have established the Organization of Turkic States, which grows stronger every year. The Non-Aligned Movement is a landmark platform, considered the second-largest organization after the UN. Meanwhile, global conflicts persist. At such a time, Azerbaijan demonstrates active diplomatic initiatives,” said Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov during the 5th panel session titled “Middle Powers in the New World Order” at the 12th Global Baku Forum.
Noting that countries should prioritize their national interests, the Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of economic independence.
