Deputy Foreign Minister: Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are developing mutually

“Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are developing mutually. Cooperation in the transport and logistics sector between the two countries is successfully expanding. A few days ago, we celebrated the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. As a result of the purposeful policy of the leaders of the two countries, our cooperation is progressing further,” said Azerbaijan`s Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov in his address at the symposium on multi-faceted cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkmenistan.
According to him, although there is no land border between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, the Caspian Sea serves as a bridge.
“Today, Azerbaijan has become a logistics hub of Eurasia. The Alat International Sea Trade Port is being used intensively,” said S. Sharifov.
