DUTCH MAGAZINE ON KHOJALY TRAGEDY
At support of the Coordination Council of Benelux Azerbaijani Organizations, the Dutch magazine “Exponmo” has published an article on the Khojaly genocide, titled “The Khojaly Genocide: Punishment for the Innocent”.
Author, Elnaz Gambarova, Azerbaijani, residing in Belgium, tries to bring the essence of Khojaly tragedy to the notice of Dutch public.
The author narrates on the historical roots of the aggressive policy of Armenians towards Azerbaijanis, shows the neglect by the former soviet president Mikhail Gorbachov, who, during his visit to the United States was bribed by Armenians, and, thus, ignored to the idea of “Great Armenia”, falsified for centuries, the occupation of the territories of Azerbaijan by Armenian chauvinists encouraged with the “impunity” and other detailed information on the atrocities of the Armenian militants committed in Khojaly city of Azerbaijan.
The article provides with rich materials told by eyewitnesses of the happenings in Khojaly, documentary pages that depict realities on the massacre the Armenians committed late in XX century.
