The Europa House of the European Commission in Azerbaijan launched a new and improved internet page (www.europahouse-az.org) to serve as an important tool for dialogue between the European Union and the citizens of Azerbaijan. The new internet page provides comprehensive information about all cooperation programmes and projects of the European Union in Azerbaijan, about the Europa House as the main Reference Point of the EC, and about political topics such as the European Neighborhood Policy. The page also presents the special envoy of the European Commission to Azerbaijan and his activities, said Wolfgang Sporrer, coordinator of the Europa House in Azerbaijan.

Furthermore, the Europa House also launched the book ' The ABC of Community Law". This is the first publication on current EU law in Azerbaijani language. The importance of European Union law for Azerbaijan is about to increase significantly, as the process of European Neighborhood Policy will lead an increased need for legal approximation between EU law and Azerbaijani legislation.

The book will be distributed for free of cost to Azerbaijani educational institutions, libraries, public offices and to the media.
