EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO SHUSHA OPENS IN BAKU
Baku, October 1 (AZERTAC). The exhibition titled “My Shusha” opened in Baku at Sattar Bakhlulzade Art Gallery on September 30 under the support of Karabakh Foundation. The exposition features about 40 works by young Azeri painter Halima Alasgarova, such as “Shusha”, “Lachin-Shusha Road”, “Khari bul-bul flower” and so on.
The Foundation was established in November 2009 in the United States and has a very high status 501 (c) 3, which is given to non-governmental organizations, according to Tural Karimli, representative of the Karabakh Foundation for Europe and CIS. The main objective of the Foundation is to inform American society on culture and history of the Caucasus, including Azerbaijan and its integral part - Nagorno Karabakh.
By the end of the year a wide range of events will be implemented by the Foundation in the United States including “My Shusha” exhibition featuring artworks of the young artist Halima Alasgarova and photo exhibition “My Karabakh”.
