FIFTH INT’L AUDIOVISUAL FILM FESTIVAL LAUNCHES
People’s artist of Azerbaijan, President of the cinematographers’ guild, director Eldar Guliyev, opened the film forum representing young directors.
In his speech, representative of the Federation of European Film Directors /FERA/, director and scriptwriter John Crom /England/ noted that new film festival should be differed from previous.
The first day of the festival ended with demonstration of short film “Caspian bride”.
The nominations of the contest are as follows: The best audiovisual work (Grand Prix), the best feature film, documentary film, animation, author’s telecasting, best clip, video-art, advertisement, student’s work, computer graphic art.
Winners will be awarded in the last day of the festival to end on October 8.
