First edition of Global Media Congress wraps up in Abu-Dhabi
Abu-Dhabi, November 18, AZERTAC
The first edition of the Global Media Congress, entitled “Shaping the future of media industry” has today successfully wrapped up in Abu-Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Organised by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC Group) in cooperation Emirates News Agency (WAM) under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Congress brought together more than 1,200 media representatives, experts and journalists, as well as more than 200 heads of media agencies from all over the world.
As one of the media partners of the Global Media Congress, AZERTAC is represented with its own stand at the two-day event held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC). During the Congress, AZERTAC’s employees provided detailed information about Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan State News Agency, discussed issues for cooperation with other news agencies represented at the Congress, as well as took part in the trainings organized during the event.
More than 40 world known experts addressed the event, with the congress featuring exhibitions, business negotiations and various platforms aimed to discuss the news in the media industry. Moreover, training and seminars have also been organized during the Congress.
During the sessions of the conferences within the Congress, discussions were held around such topics as artificial intellect, improvement of skills, consumer behavior, content creation, leading media trends and forecasting.
