FIRST LADY OF LITHUANIA VISITS AZERBAIJAN NATIONAL CARPET GALLERY
Mrs. Alma Adamkiene was informed that the carpet weaving is one of the oldest trades of Azerbaijani nation. Azerbaijani carpets have always been attractive in the world. Ancient travelers said that Shirvan, Tebriz, Garabag, Gazakh, Ganja and Guba carpets achieved fame in all the Silk way countries. Azerbaijani carpets are one of the unique items in some museums of the world. The enterprise employs about 350 people. Some products of the enterprise were awarded special prizes and certificates in sale exhibitions in USA, Germany, Russia.
Mrs. Adamkiene saw the items of the gallery and familiarized herself with the painting and weaving process.
Then, the beautiful carpet was presented to Alma Adamkiene.
