FM OF AZERBAIJAN VISITS BATUMI
Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov 26 August arrived in Batumi, Georgia, on a working visit.
Together with his Georgian counterpart Gela Bezhuashvili, Mr. Mammadyarov visited the Sari customs point and Gonio complex on Georgia-Turkey border. On 27 August, the Azeri Foreign Minister and Gela Bezhuashvili visited the Batumi oil terminal.
Then, the Ministers had a meeting behind closed doors. The Ministers are supposed to discuss oil transportation, further cooperation in the frame of GUAM, expansion of infrastructure in region, trade-economic relations between the two countries, main principles of customs services and other questions.
E. Mammadyarov expressed satisfaction with the existing level of relations, noting that in all questions position of the both states coincide.
