FOREIGN MINISTER OF IRAQ DISCUSSES QUESTIONS OF BILATERAL COOPERATION IN MOSCOW
At the meeting, discussed were prospects of bilateral cooperation,, in particular, freezing of the Russian - Iraq economic projects, the course of political process on development of the Iraq national structures and the role which the international community can play in this cause.
On results of the meetings, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq informed journalists, that the new government of his country is interested in establishment of the balanced relations with all countries, and first of all with Russia in all areas. As he said, the situation in Iraq is not frozen, but it let slowly, but develops. Kh. Zibari also informed, that Baghdad is convinced of necessity of carrying out of the international conference on Iraq, and this conference could promote safety and stability in the country, reconstruction of the Iraq economy with assistance of the world community.
