Azerbaijani pianist performs solo concert at Warsaw University

The Auditorium Maximum of the University of Warsaw hosted a solo concert by Azerbaijani Honored Artist and pianist Nargiz Aliyarova as part of the 22nd International Chopin and His Europe Music Festival.
The concert program featured not only masterpieces by Frédéric Chopin but also works by prominent Azerbaijani composers, such as Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov, Franghiz Ali-Zadeh, and Faig Sujaddinov.
The combination of the diverse facets of Azerbaijani composers’ artistry with Chopin’s celebrated piano masterpieces created an artistic dialogue between Azerbaijani and Polish musical traditions, captivating the audience and drawing warm applause.
A musical piece dedicated to the Azerbaijani martyrs of the Patriotic War was received with special attention and deep respect.
The concert served to foster cultural dialogue in the field of music between Azerbaijan and Poland, promote the mutual presentation of the two countries’ rich musical heritage, and introduce the works of Azerbaijani composers and national values to the Polish audience.
