Azerbaijan produced 536,900 tons of petroleum coke and bitumen in January-August

In January-August 2026, Azerbaijan produced 536,900 tons of petroleum coke, petroleum bitumen, and other residual petroleum products, marking an increase of 13,600 tons, or 2.6%, compared to the same period last year.
According to the State Customs Committee, as of September 1, stocks the oil products in the country amounted to 34,700 tons.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan produced 104,600 tons of petroleum bitumen and 161,900 tons of petroleum coke, representing a decline of 34.4% (54,900 tons) in bitumen production and an increase of 8.1% (12,100 tons) in petroleum coke production.
