French ambassador visits Sheki State Drama Theatre

As part of her visit to Sheki, Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Sophie Lagoutte and her accompanying delegation visited the Sheki State Drama Theatre.
During the meeting, Chief Director of the Sheki State Drama Theatre Mirbala Salimli highlighted the history of the theatre. He noted that until now three pieces by the great French playwright Jean-Baptiste Molière have been staged at the theatre.
Expressing her gratitude for the attention the staff of the theatre attach to Jean-Baptiste Molière, Ambassador Sophie Lagoutte emphasized that she had heard wonderful things about the Sheki Theatre.
Noting that the embassy representatives had already watched several performances staged by the Sheki Theatre, the ambassador underlined that she had personally decided to get acquainted with the theatre.
The ambassador noted that they were interested in establishing cooperation with the Sheki Theatre in the field of theatre, cinema, and culture in the future.
