GEORGIA`s STABILITY AND DEVELOPMENT IMPORTANT TO AZERBAIJAN, FM MAMMADYAROV
Georgia`s stability and development is important to Azerbaijan, the country`s foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov said Tuesday during a meeting with Georgian deputy foreign minister Nikolos Vashagidze in Baku, the Azerbaijani ministry said.
Mammadyarov praised the level of strategic partnership between the two countries.
Vashagidze said he is in the Azeri capital to attend celebrations marking the 15th anniversary of the founding of the two countries` diplomatic relations.
The Georgian deputy foreign minister said Georgia-Azerbaijan relations are a vivid example of good neighborhood ties.
Mammadyarov and Vashagidze also discussed cooperation within GUAM, including GUAM-Japan and GUAM-USA dialogue.
