GOVERNMENT OF GEORGIA APPROVES KARS-AKHALKALAKI-TBILISI-BAKU RAILWAY PROJECT
The sitting of the Georgian government presided by Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli was held on November 17. Georgian government discussed and approved the Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku railway project and prepared the plan of actions to realize the project.
The project on construction of the Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku railway was prepared on the basis of the joint declaration of heads of Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
