“Heydar Aliyev: A Great Azerbaijani” conference kicks off in Baku

Baku, May 6 (AZERTAC). “Heydar Aliyev: A Great Azerbaijani” conference, organized by the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) to mark national leader Heydar Aliyev`s 90th anniversary, has today started at Gulustan Palace, Baku.

In his remarks at the event, YAP Deputy Chairman-Executive Secretary Ali Ahmadov spoke about national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role in modern Azerbaijani history.

Chairman of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov, Deputy Chairman of Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov, Rector of the Baku State University Abel Maharramov, Chairwoman of State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Hijran Huseynova, Rector of the Azerbaijan State Economic University Shamsaddin Hajiyev will make speeches on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role in development of Azerbaijan.
