HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION WORTHILY REPRESENTS AZERBAIJAN AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL “BIBLIOBRAZ-2007”
The international festival “BibliObraz-2007” organized by the Russian Language Development Center under the aegis of First Lady of Russia Ludmila Putina wrapped up October 11 in Moscow. The Forum was supported by Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP.
The festival gathered participants from 22 countries including Azerbaijan, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, India, Kyrgyzstan, Slovakia, USA, Estonia and other European and Asian nations.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation prepared a nice and diverse program presenting the history and rich culture of Azerbaijan. The stand “Azerbaijan” was by all accounts very interesting. It presented books by classics of Azerbaijani literature, new books published with the assistance of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, multimedia products, national costumes and instruments etc.
In his address, Azerbaijan’s ambassador in Russia Polad Bulbul oglu thanked First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva for coming to Moscow to participate in the festival “BibliObraz-2007”.
Azerbaijani writers presented their books and artists their works of art during the event.
