INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “FICTITIOUS ARMENIAN GENOCIDE AND REALITIES” HELD
The international conference “Fictitious Armenian genocide and realities” co-organized by the Azerbaijan Office of the World Congress of Azerbaijanis and Azeri-Turk Women Union started Thursday in Baku.
The event was attended by MPs from Turkey, Belgium, activists of the Turkish community of the Northern Cyprus, Iraq Turkmen Front, historians and heads of various organizations.
The conference heard reports on 31 March - Genocide of Azerbaijanis, the policy of terror pursued by Armenian dashnaks against Azerbaijan and Turkic nations.
Conference participants visited national leader Heydar Aliyev’s tomb, Martyrs’ Alley and Alley of Turkish Shahids.
The film on the Azerbaijanis Genocide Day was demonstrated at the event.
Chief of Presidential Administration`s division Gafar Aliyev, Professor of the Turkish Afyon University Sadyk Sarysaman, and others spoke at the event. They told about the fact that Armenian dashnaks and bolsheviks killed more than 50 thousand people in 1918 in Baku, Shamakhy, Nakhchivan, Karabakh, Zangezur, Mugan, Guba , Lankaran.
Speakers strongly condemned the atrocities committed by Armenians.
In conclusion, conference participants adopted the statement to the world community, condemning Armenian terrorist activity
Conference participants will visit graves of 1918 victims in Baku on March 28.
