Israeli Defense Minister orders strikes on Tehran after Iran violates ceasefire

Following renewed Iranian missile fire on northern Israel after a ceasefire began on Tuesday morning, Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered the Israel Defense Forces to renew strike on Tehran, according to the Press Service of Israel (TPS-IL).
“I have instructed the IDF to respond forcefully to Iran’s violation of the ceasefire with powerful strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran,” Katz said.
Two ballistic missile were fired three hours after the 7:00 AM ceasefire, forcing residents from Haifa to Galilee and Golan to take shelter. Both were intercepted.
“In light of Iran’s complete violation of the ceasefire declared by the US President and the launch of missiles towards Israel, and in accordance with the Israeli government’s policy as determined to respond forcefully to any violation – I have instructed the IDF, in coordination with the Prime Minister, to continue the intense activity of attacking Tehran to thwart regime targets and terrorist infrastructures in Tehran, in continuation of the activity that took place yesterday.”
