Israeli tech firm XTEND launches American HQ, drone plant in Florida

XTEND Reality Inc., an Israeli-founded defense tech firm, has launched its new U.S. headquarters and drone production facility in Tampa, Florida, according to the Press Service of Israel (TPS-IL).

The site will manufacture human-guided autonomous drone systems for U.S. defense missions, supporting Washington’s push for domestically produced technology.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony drew federal, state, and military leaders, highlighting the facility’s role in boosting national security and local economic growth. XTEND said the site will eventually expand to produce key drone components and create dozens of high-tech jobs.
