Italy, Germany, France are main exporters of Azerbaijani oil

“Azerbaijani oil is exported to 30 foreign countries. The geography of these countries is constantly growing. While previously only 10 to 15 percent of Azerbaijani oil was exported outside of the Mediterranean region, now this indicator rose to 45 percent. Currently the main importers of Azerbaijani oil to Europe are Italy, Germany and France,” SOCAR Marketing and Economic Operations Department spokesman Adil Abishov noted in his speech at the 8th Caspian oil and gas trading and transportation conference.
Stressing the growth in exported oil and gas to Asian countries, Abishov noted SOCAR exports 20 percent of its oil products to this continent.
