KAZAKH AMBASSADOR ENDS HIS DIPLOMATIC MISSION IN AZERBAIJAN
A ceremony dedicated to the completion of diplomatic mission of the ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Andar Shukputov was arranged at the Baku Entertainment Center, 24 October.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the government and people of Azerbaijan for assistance he was shown during his mission in the country.
The diplomat reminded his meetings with late President Heydar Aliyev, noting his exclusive merits in development of bilateral relations between the two countries. At his words, the incumbent President also continues this policy to strengthen friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. As known, he stressed, President Ilham Aliyev has visited Kazakhstan four times in four years. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are quickly developing countries in region and successfully cooperate in the Caspian basin, he said. As evidence, Mr. Shukputov pointed at increase of trade turnover between the two countries last years. Kazakhstan is keen in Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan export pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway projects, he emphasized.
Speaking on behalf of diplomatic corps in the country, Ambassador of Romania Nikolaye Ureke wished to Ambassador Shukputov further success in his diplomatic activity.
Members of Parliament, diplomats, public figures took part at the event.
