KING OF ROCK AND ROLL TO BE COMMEMORATED IN BAKU
The world-wide obsession with the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, continues and now spreads to Baku.
A special party entitled “Elvis Forever” to be held on August 18 in the Excelsior Hotel Baku will allow King’s fans to enjoy listening to his songs.
Born on January 8, 1935 in East Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Presley was one of the greatest icons of the 20th Century.
His singing and style revolutionized popular music in the 1950s.
Elvis Presley died on 16 August of heart failure, aged 42.
