MEETING OF CIS COUNCIL OF INTERIOR MINISTERS UNDERWAY IN BAKU
Regular meeting of the Council of Interior Ministers (CIM) of the CIS countries commenced in Baku on September 6.
The agenda of meeting attended by heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of 12 CIS countries-members, includes questions of increase of efficiency of activity of the CIM of CIS in counteraction to modern challenges and threats, cooperation of law-enforcement bodies in sphere of professional training, other issues of mutual concern.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan Ramil Usubov addressed participants of the meeting, noting efficiency of cooperation within the Council heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (CIM) of the CIS member countries, which, according to him, "constantly gets stronger, is filled with the new maintenance for the good of our countries and peoples".
Chairman of CIM, Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Baurjan Muhammadjanov has informed participants on the work done by the Council for the period after last session in Astana.
Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan Ramil Usubov took powers of the Chairman of CIM. Ramil Usubov awarded Baurjan Muhammadjanov with the medal "For Combat Cooperation".
Head of the President Office Ramiz Mehdiyev, chairman of Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Vladimir Rushailo took part at the opening of meeting.
