Vienna, 16 March (AZERTAC). On March 18-19, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is to host in Vienna a seminar-meeting on the topic “Oil: the future stability and steadiness”. The key goal of the seminar is to discuss prospects of petroleum industry against the international financial crisis, to find ways of maintenance of stability in the world markets and conduct exchange of views on increase of the rates of economic development in the world.

In the seminar which from previous years has proved to be a successful platform to carry out constructive exchange of views, the delegations at level of ministers from more than 30 countries of the world will take part.

At the event, Azerbaijan will be represented by a delegation led by Natig Aliyev, the minister of the industry and energy, employees of the embassy of Azerbaijan in Austria and the Austrian representation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.
