OMBUDSPERSON ATTENDS II WORLD CONFERENCE ON CHILDREN’S PROBLEMS
II World Conference on the “Problems of Children Deprived of Parental Care” was held in the city of Wooster, US. The Conference was organized by the US “International advocates for children”, “Focus on adoption” organizations and the University of Massachusetts. The event brought together 125 representatives from 26 world countries.
The Conference focused on the problems of children deprived of guardianship and parental care, interstate adoption rules, as well as ways to eliminate adoption –related difficulties.
Represent the Republic of Azerbaijan at the conference Ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova spoke of the issues related to existing problems and protection of children’s rights in the country.
