Pakistan strongly condemns unjustified and illegitimate aggression by Israel against Iran

Pakistan has strongly condemned what it termed unjustified and illegitimate aggression by Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a statement issued in Islamabad, the spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Israeli military strikes violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran and are a clear breach of the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law. The spokesperson affirmed that Iran has the inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter.
"Pakistan stands in resolute solidarity with the people of Iran and unequivocally denounces these blatant provocations," the statement said, adding that such actions pose a grave danger and represent a serious threat to peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond.
The Ministry further emphasized that the international community and the United Nations have a responsibility to uphold international law, halt the aggression immediately, and hold the aggressor accountable for its actions.
