PHOTOGRAPHS OF GERMAN MONUMENTS DISPLAYED IN GANJA
The German embassy to Azerbaijan has opened an exhibition of photographs of 32 German monuments included in UNESCO list at the Ganja State Drama Theatre.
Addressing the event, the second secretary of the German embassy to Azerbaijan, Gerbert Schmitter, said the photographs are aimed at closer familiarizing Ganja residents with culture and history of Germany.
Schmitter said the depicted German monuments are listed by UNESCO among 800 important monuments in 130 countries.
He noted the exhibition plays important role in development of cultural cooperation between the two nations.
The exhibition will run three days.
