POLAND KEEN IN DIVERSE DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONS
Vice-speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Ziyafet Askarov on 7 November met the Polish Minister of economy Piotr Wozniak.
Mr. Askarov said Azerbaijan is interested in expansion of relations with the world countries, including Poland. Reciprocal visits of the heads of state and the carried out negotiations have notably promoted this cooperation. Azerbaijan and Poland have good opportunities for cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian fields, he stressed. The quick developing Azerbaijani makes vast contribution to Europe’s energy security.
Ziyafet Askarov said Azerbaijan makes true steps in restoration of the Great Silk Road and reconstruction of transport infrastructure in this sphere, which, according to him, raises the role of Azerbaijan in region.
The working group on relations with the Polish legislative body is functioning in Milli Majlis, Mr. Askarov said. The parliamentarians support each other on the international actions.
Expressing gratitude for cordial reception, Piotr Wozniak said his country is keen in all-round cooperation with Azerbaijan. Participation of Azerbaijan in global projects able to change economy of the entire region attracts the European countries, including Poland, the Polish minister stressed.
The parties had comprehensive exchange of views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
