Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan visits Khazar University
Baku, November 28 (AZERTAC). Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Michal Labenda has visited Khazar University to meet its students.
Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University Mukhtar Hajizada highlighted the role of Poland in establishment of the Eastern Partnership.
Mr Labenda reiterated his government`s commitment to the Eastern Partnership and its willingness to play a role in the process. Talking about the Polish policy towards the Eastern neighbourhood, Ambassador Labenda expressed his ideas about the negotiated Agreements on a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, Association Agreements and Visa Facilitation agreements linked to Readmission Agreements. Sharing his views on the completed EU accession process of Poland and the significance of the Eastern Partnership, the Ambassador stressed the benefits of free trade and the advantages of having an open market for the countries of the Eastern Partnership; how the EU can upgrade its trade and investment in the Eastern neighborhood; and the possible economic reforms the countries may need to make.
