Portugal's Foreign Minister holds phone talk with Jeyhun Bayramov

Paulo Rangel, Minister of State and Foreign Affairs of Portugal, held a phone conversation with Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
During the telephone conversation, the sides exchanged views on regional and international security issues.
The ministers reviewed the risks to regional security arising against the backdrop of the war in the Middle East. In this context, the drone attack carried out from the territory of Iran against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan was described as unacceptable and was strongly condemned.
During the conversation, the foreign ministers also discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Portugal, including political dialogue, economic cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest. The ministers stressed the importance of continuing mutual contacts.
