PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES DEPUTIES OF GREAT NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF TURKEY
Having expressed satisfaction in connection with arrival in Azerbaijan for supervision over parliamentary elections of representative delegation of Turkish deputies, the head of Azerbaijan state has emphasized, that in the country all necessary measures for carrying out of election campaign at a high level beforehand have been accepted, that elections have ended in normal conditions.
Having noted constant strengthening of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, President Ilham Aliyev has told: “Turkey always supported us, we feel it and today.
Deputies, having emphasized, that on November 6, fair, free elections will take the important place in the history of democracy of Azerbaijan that hope that they will bring the big advantage to the further development of the country, have noted, that elections to Azerbaijan, really, have ended at extremely high level from the point of view of the world standards, calculation of votes of candidates, calculation of all results. In one country the world to elections do not give such attention as in Azerbaijan, we did not see elections in which would take part so many foreign observers. We always speak, that democracy and economy should develop together, and Azerbaijan serves as a bright example.
Having informed, that behind the elections carried out by Azerbaijan watched more than 1500 observers who have arrived from abroad, and also over 17 thousand local observers, the head of Azerbaijan state has regarded a number of innovations at present elections, including drawing on fingers inking, application of exit-poll, as a progressive step.
Having emphasized, that at elections more than 1500 candidates competed for 125 places that is an unprecedented record parameter, President Ilham Aliyev has expressed hope, that the elections carried out in normal conditions, will play the important role in the further development of Azerbaijan, that the re-elected parliament will work very fruitfully, the important laws will be accepted, intensive development of Azerbaijan on the way of democracy has been provided.
The head of Azerbaijan state has expressed confidence that relations between groups of friendship of parliaments of Azerbaijan and Turkey become even stronger.
