PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES MEMBERS OF BLACK SEA INITIATIVE GROUP
On August 24, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received at the Presidential Palace the members of the Global Panel Foundation’s Black Sea Initiative group.
The President called this visit a good opportunity for the members of the group to get closely familiarized with the ongoing development processes in Azerbaijan, and to evaluate the prospects of cooperation on a regional level.
He noted that a number of projects had been realized to link up the Caspian with the Black Sea, stressing Azerbaijan is playing the important role of a bridge between the two regions.
Chairman of the Global Panel Foundation Marc S. Ellenbogen informed the Azerbaijani leader on activity of the organization’s Black Sea Initiatives. He said they had had fruitful meetings in a number of local ministries and committees.
