PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA TO VISIT TURKEY
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is to make an official visit to Ankara on 2 September, AzerTAj correspondent said. President of the Russian Federation is expected to meet his Turkish counterpart Ahmed Necdet Sezer, Prime Minister Regep Tayyip Erdogan and other officials.
This is the first official visit of the President of the Russian Federation to Turkey. At the threshold of visit to Ankara all the necessary safety measures are taken. Reportedly, five thousands policemen have been mobilized to ensure safety of the Russian President.
