PRESIDENT PUTIN CONFERS “FRIENDSHIP ORDER” UPON MURTUZ ALASGAROV
Milli Majlis deputy, former speaker of the Azerbaijan parliament Murtuz Alasgarov was awarded a Russian Federation’s “Friendship Order”. The order was presented July 17 at the Milli Majlis.
According to vice-speaker of the Milli Majlis, chairman of the MM standing commission on security and defense affairs, Ziyafet Asgarov, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin conferred the “Friendship Order” upon Murtuz Alasgarov for his contribution to development of Azerbaijan-Russia relationships.
Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vasiliy Istratov presented the order and read out President Putin’s order at the session of Milli Majlis.
Murtuz Alasgarov thanked Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Vladimir Putin of Russia for conferring “Istiglal” and “Friendship” orders respectively.
Chairman of the MM standing commission on regional issues Safa Mirzayev also congratulated Murtuz Alasgarov.
