RUSSIAN-TURKISH CONSULTATIONS ON THE SITUATION IN IRAQ HELD IN MOSCOW
As is reported by AZERTAC correspondent referring to press release on meeting in Moscow of the Russian vice-minister of foreign affairs A. Saltanov with the special representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey on Iraq O. Chelikkala, Russia and Turkey admit that necessary condition for stabilization of situation in Iraq is achievement of the real national consent. The sides have underlined that also it is necessary collective multilateral efforts on assistance to create conditions in this country in spirit of resolutions of the international conference held in Charm Ash-Sheikh in 2007.
The parties have exchanged views on situation in Iraq and possible ways of solving the Iraq crisis. They have reached agreement on coordination of efforts, during preparation of the next international meeting on Iraq at level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Istanbul.
