SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENTS TO BE ELECTED BY PARENTS AND TEACHERS
The bill will be presented to the government and then brought to the parliament for adoption, A. Lomaya said. Parliament is believed to discuss the draft and approve it in September. In compliance with the law, the board of guardians consisted of parents and teachers will elect school superintendent who is not to be over 65 years old. The election is based on the presented project and prospective development plan. Superintendent may be elected only for two 6-year terms at one school.
According to A. Lomaya, as soon as the draft law is passed by the parliament, election of comprehensive school superintendents will begin since autumn this year.
