SCIENTIFIC-THEORETICAL CONFERENCE TOOK PLACE IN MINGACHEVIR
Prior to the conference, the participants will get a chance to visit the photo exhibition reflecting the past and present of Nakhchivan.
The head of the executive power of Nakhchivan Mahabbat Garabaghli delivered a report entitled “The land which presented our nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev to Azerbaijan and the world”. Then, the audience heard the reports by Milli Majlis deputies Yagub Mahmudov, Vugar Rahimzadeh, Anar Khundzadeh, Aydin Mirzazadeh and head of the permanent office of Autonomous Republic in Baku Hasan Zeynalov.
The speakers told of the historical-political and moral significance of the Presidential decree “On Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”, socio-economic progress of Nakhchivan under Heydar Aliyev’s leadership.
On the same day, the results of the contest of compositions and paintings conducted in schools in accordance with the decree of the head of executive power were summed up. The winners were presented gifts, diplomas and booklets illustrating history of Nakhchivan.
