Shusha to host Victory Day celebrations

Azerbaijan’s Shusha city will host a series of events titled “November 8 – The Triumph of Victory” to mark the fifth anniversary of the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War.
On November 6, a military parade will begin at the Flag Square in the city of Shusha.
Additionally, co-organized by the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Shusha City State Reserve Administration, a series of events will be held in the city.
The celebrations will also be followed by an event celebrating the joy of Victory by the students of the Shusha City Secondary School No. 1.
The events will feature an exhibition of residents' paintings at Shusha Hotel, showcasing handmade crafts in the “Flower Garden”.
The program will also include a concert dedicated to Victory Day, as well as a joint performance organized by Karabakh University and the Ministry of Culture. The festive events will conclude in the evening with fireworks at the Shusha Fortress.
