South Korean Ambassador visits Azerbaijan’s city of Sheki

On December 5, Kang Kymgu, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan, visited Sheki city.
During the visit, the diplomat explored the historical sites located in the city.
Elkhan Usubov, Head of the Sheki City Executive Authority, briefed the diplomat about the history of Sheki, as well as the city’s economic, cultural, and tourism potential.
Usubov also described Sheki as the City of Festivals, highlighting the annual Silk Way International Music Festival hosted by the city, also with the participation of the Korean musicians in different years.
The meeting also explored prospects for collaboration, as well as other issues of shared interest.
