SPANISH OPERATIC TENOR JOSE CARRERAS PERFORMS IN BAKU
Jose Carreras, a Spanish operatic tenor, one of the world’s most prominent singers, gave two-part concert in the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Baku on Saturday.
The program included classical compositions of Italian and Spanish composers, including Scarlatti, Tosti, Costa, Hardel, Albeniz, Granados, Morera, Ribas.
Carreras was accompanied by famous European pianist Lorenzo Bavaj.
Famous Swiss company Chopard`s jewelries were demonstrated during the concert. Prior to the concert, Carreras attended the opening ceremony of Chopard`s shop in Baku.
