“Theatrical alternatives: theater hip-hop" seminar held in Baku

Baku, November 12 (AZERTAC). In the framework of the international scientific-practical theatrical conference passed in Baku on November 12 a seminar on the theme "Theatrical alternatives: theater hip-hop" seminar took place at the House of Actor.

The known director from the USA Daniel Banks holding the seminar noted that the Baku conference has brought together the creative people living in the different countries of the world. They had a fine possibility to exchange ideas, opinions that are very important in art.

The guest spoke about the hip-hop theater popular in his country, history of its creation, and also a great interest of the spectators. It was informed that the theater hip-hop has arisen in the USA in 70s of last century and unites the styles most interesting to youth.

We don`t intend to propagandize this theatrical genre in any country. The seminar`s purpose is to inform participants on our work” Mr. Banks told.
