Triple Olympic champion Irina Rodnina hails preparations for Baku 2015 Games

Russian figure skater, triple Olympic champion, 10-time world champion, MP Irina Rodnina has praised the preparations for the inaugural European Games that will take place in Baku this June.
“I have witnessed myself the preparation work, and how the organizers are putting all efforts and love in it,” said Rodnina as she addressed the presentation of the Baku Games in Moscow. “Europe was right in choosing Baku as the host country for its own Games.”
“Choosing a young, independent country, which has ancient history, traditions and culture can be in favor of both the international Olympic movement and sport in Azerbaijan,” she added.
