TURKISH AMBASSADOR VISITS CAUCASUS UNIVERSITY
Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Turkey to Azerbaijan Huseyn Avni Garslyoglu visited the Caucasus University in Baku Thursday to attend an event dealing with the urgent issues of the Turkish foreign policy.
Here, he spoke of political processes taking place in the world highlighting the priorities of this country’s foreign policy. Describing Turkey’s relationships with the countries of Europe, South Caucasus and Asia, he stressed the need for unity and closer cooperation among the Turkish-speaking nations. Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, Garslyoglu reaffirmed that Turkey has always been supportive of the right cause and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Having stressed the role of science, education and technologies in development of a country, the diplomat wished students every success in their studies.
Afterwards, Ambassador Garslyoglu answered numerous questions from the audience.
