Turkish Takvim newspaper issues article titled “Ilham Aliyev must be reelected”
Baku, July 17 (AZERTAC). Turkish Takvim newspaper has issued an article titled “Ilham Aliyev must be reelected” by Bulent Erandac.
The article stresses Turkey`s and Azerbaijan`s role in the Eurasian region.
The author notes that presidential elections would be held in Azerbaijan on October 16, 2013.
“Ilham Aliyev`s election as Azerbaijani president is closely connected with Turkey`s position in the Caucasus.” Mr. Erandac lauds Ilham Aliyev`s role in developing the Turkey-Azerbaijan relations.
The article features quotes from speeches by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Touching upon the increasing geopolitical interest of the Western countries in the Caucasus, the author once again stresses the importance of “Ilham Aliyev-Recep Tayyip Erdogan” unity.
